Bad Boy Mowers to Acquire MAC Company

Bad Boy Mowers announced today their acquisition of MAC Company to expand Bad Boy’s equipment offerings. MAC Company is based in West Fargo, ND, and is known for its SwingSteer™ and ProSeries attachments.
Bad Boy plans to continue operation out of the MAC Company headquarters in West Fargo and will retain all current employees. MAC Company co-founders, Peter Christianson (CEO) and Tom Lykken (Chief Engineer), will remain with the company, primarily focusing on the success of the articulated loader line of business. Bad Boy and MAC Company are working together to enhance the current SwingSteer™ and expand Bad Boy’s light construction equipment lineup.
“We’re excited to bring MAC Company into the Bad Boy family,” said Peter Ballantyne, CEO of Bad Boy. “We pride ourselves on innovative engineering, which makes this acquisition the perfect fit. We look forward to continuing to produce these best-in-class machines, now with more attitude than ever.”
The SwingSteer™ and ProSeries attachments are the latest in a series of Bad Boy category additions, including expansions across product lines like tractors, UTVs and handheld tools.
