Bad Boy Mowers exits Battle 4 Atlantis sponsorship

After eight years as the title sponsor of the Battle 4 Atlantis men’s college basketball tournament, Bad Boy Mowers will not renew its sponsorship in 2025.

“This was a difficult decision for us and we are very proud of the experiences and relationships Bad Boy Mowers has helped build over the past eight years through this partnership,” said Peter Ballantyne, CEO of Bad Boy Mowers. “Fans always knew when they tuned into the Bad Boy Mowers Battle 4 Atlantis that they would indeed see a battle between tough teams, players and coaches, characterized by power, performance and attitude.
“As the college basketball landscape continues to change we believe now is the time to explore other exciting partnerships. We will pursue new ways to support the sports, teams and experiences that our company, dealer network and Bad Boy Country customers all love” said Lindsey Keller, VP Marketing for Bad Boy Mowers.
Bad Boy will continue its title sponsorship of college football’s Pinstripe Bowl played in Yankee Stadium, as well as sponsorships with the New York Yankees, Kansas City Chiefs and within PBR.
Traditionally played the week of Thanksgiving, the Battle 4 Atlantis is hosted at the Atlantis resort in Paradise Island, Bahamas. The tournament has been a premier early-season competition, with past men’s champions including Villanova, Virginia, Michigan, Baylor, Tennessee and Oklahoma. Bad Boy became title sponsor of the Battle 4 Atlantis men’s tournament in 2017, also sponsoring the Battle 4 Atlantis women’s tournament, which began in 2021.
